I’m Paul Guardia, a software systems developer, UX strategist, and founder of Signal North Systems. I help organizations turn complex ideas into intuitive digital products through a combination of design, software, AI, and systems thinking.

My career started in design, earning a Bachelor of Design from NSCAD University. While designing digital experiences, I became increasingly fascinated by the technology behind them. That curiosity led me from user experience into software development, systems architecture, and the broader challenge of building technology that creates real-world impact.

Today, I work at the intersection of design and engineering, helping agencies, non-profits, educational institutions, and public-sector organizations build better software, streamline operations, and solve complex problems. My work spans UX strategy, full-stack development, automation, and emerging AI systems.

Today, my interests are increasingly focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the future of computing itself. As I continue my Computer Science studies at Dalhousie University, I'm exploring the technologies that will power the next generation of intelligent systems. From software architecture and AI to brain-inspired computing and emerging hardware, I'm fascinated by the systems that shape our future and motivated by the opportunity to help build them.
